Shawn is a, Canadian singer songwriter, acoustic, electric guitar player, and soundtrack music composer.
He started in music at a young age. Put in music classes at the age of 7 years in England Shawn studied classical piano. Shawn toured Canada's east coast in his teen years in a band called, Tequila. Later on Shawn ended up in southern Ontario with a band called, Hot House, they cut an album called : BURN IT DOWN, in 1978 at London Ontario . They toured the circuit with the likes of Teenage Head and Helix in big rocking bars. Hot House toured around with a new 5 ton truck and lots of big PA gear and lights. All 1000 copies of their album were sold, mostly through Sam The Record Man in Toronto.
Later on Shawn began working with CBC television and still to date works writes and produces music for national TV commericials.
.Music has always been Shawn's passion, now performing classic rock, blues and country. Shawn's influences include Johnny Cash, Stompin Tom, Waylon Jennings, Johnny winter, Stevie Ray Vaughan , the Who and many more great artists.
He has also written a lot of his own music..Prisoners River.. one he takes pride in, setting a lyric in the Ojibway langage, as requested by a native friend, who found the song to be very spiritual.
One of Shawns favourite pastimes is participating and video taping local talent at music jams in Ontario. Over 100 videos on Youtube.
